Player, Guitar, Stool and Footstool Heights
Your children grow so quickly! We want to make certain that they have a comfortable guitar to play and a comfortable chair set to their height.Size Chart
Stools
Below are three options for Stools.
9" Height Folding Step Stool (You can get it in any color). Holds up to 300 lbs so very useful for other things around the house as well!
OR
11" Height Same as above, just slightly taller. (Spranster Folding Step Stool for Kids, Bathroom, Dorm Bed - Collapsible 11" Tall White Plastic Step Stool for Kitchen - Foldable Step Stool for Adults - Safe Enough for Kids - Holds Up to 300 lb)
OR
Handicap Bathroom Stool, White. Most adjustable but lowest setting is 13"
Footstool or other guitar supports
Contemporary classical guitarist are moving away from the traditional footstool. That said, it is good to learn to use one as this will help your child with good posture and proper playing position. This is a good little footstool
Strukture 6 Position Footstool SCFS, Black
MUSIC STAND
Please get this stand if your child is starting to learn to read music with me. It sits down low to the ground (which is great for guitarists and for children). Musicians usually use black stands... I'm debating about different colors for us! Let me know your thoughts!

CAPO's
Capo's work to raise the pitch of the guitar. This is helpful when we play along with other instruments and/or accompany singers. You want to make certain the capo is for a classical guitar (flat fretboard)
There are lots of capo's available...but they can often be difficult for small hands.
Here is a good one that little hands can use. Its adjustable.
